Design Service

All our cakes are bespoke and made to order. You can either choose a design from our portfolio, or we can design something new. If you wish you can change colours and flowers to fit with your theme.

Cake Recipe, Fillings and Shapes

Cakes Recipes available are: Traditional Rich Fruit Cake, Farmhouse Fruit Cake, Madeira Sponge Cake, Chocolate Sponge Cake, Rich Chocolate Fudge Cake, Carrot Cake, Lemon Cake, Coffee Cake, Irish Coffee Cake, Coffee Walnut Cake, Coconut Cake, Battenberg Cake and loads more.

The cake filling will depend on the Recipe but the fillings available are: Jam, Butter Cream, Fresh Cream, Chocolate Butter Cream, Chocolate Fudge, Lemon Curd etc.

Consultations and Tastings

Consultations are by appointment only. You are very welcome to come and discuss your requirements and taste some cake. If you have any colour swatches, or other design information such as photos or magazine clippings, please do bring them with you.

Notice Times

I would ask you to give us at least 10 days notice prior to the date you need it for all birthday, anniversary and christening cakes and at least 3-6 months notice for all wedding cakes. However we can take orders at short notice so always contact us to check.

Collection/Delivery

We offer a free delivery and set-up service for our cakes in the Sittingbourne area. Outside Sittingbourne will be charged at a nominal fee. For more information including prices please see our Delivery page.

Payment Terms

To secure your order, a non-refundable deposit of 25% or £25 (which ever is the most) needs to be paid. The balance is due on delivery or collection of your cake. We accept payment by cash or cheque.

Nut Allergy

Our cakes are baked in a kitchen that may contain traces of nuts. Although we take every precaution, we can not grantee that the cakes are nut free therefore the cakes are not suitable for people with nut allergies.

Cakes with Fresh Flowers

If your cake design requires fresh flowers, your florist will supply these. We will liase directly with your florist regarding types and numbers of flowers needed. If you have chosen our delivery and set-up service we will decorate the cake with your flowers at your venue.

N.B. Some flowers are not suitable for use as cake decorations. Please ask your florist regarding toxicity. Heaven's Cakes cannot be held liable for any contamination to your cake.

Non-edible Materials

There may be some items on your cake that are non-edible such as wires in sugar flowers, brooches, ribbons, diamantes and flower holders. It is your responsibility to make sure that these items are removed before serving. Heaven's Cakes accepts no responsibility from any physical harm that may arise from there use.

Stand Hire

We have a number of stands available for hire for our cakes. A deposit cheque of £50 is required. This is held in your file until the stand is returned. Stands must be returned within 7 days. For more details and prices please see our Cake Stand Hire page.

Cancellation Policy

In very exceptional circumstances Heaven's Cakes reserves the right to cancel your order. No charges will be made and all monies paid will be returned to you.

You have the right to cancel your order; however your deposit is non-refundable.
